So, throughout September, 16 amazing middle grade authors will share thoughts and photos about what home means to them and how it plays a role in their books. It started with this conversation and, then, the two authors learned that the theme of home can be found in many middle grade books, just as young readers begin to discover themselves and the world around them. These are some of the questions that middle grade authors Melissa Sarno and Mae Respicio loved exploring in their debut novels Just Under the Clouds and The House That Lou Built.
